Remy Amerique, Inc. Joins The Distilled Spirits Council

WASHINGTON, DC – Distilled Spirits Council President and CEO Peter H. Cressy announced today that Remy Amerique, Inc. joined the Council April 1. “We are pleased to announce that Remy Amerique, Inc., marketers of Remy Martin Cognac, Macallan Scotch and Cointreau Liqueur and other fine distilled spirits, has joined the Distilled Spirits Council,” said Cressy. “Remy Amerique’s fine products are known throughout the world and it shares our strong commitment to market distilled spirits to adults in a responsible and appropriate manner.” The Distilled Spirits Council is a national trade association representing producers and marketers of distilled spirits and importers of wines sold in the United States and represents nearly 80 percent of all distilled spirits brands sold in this country. The Council works to support federal, state and international laws and regulations that increase adult market access for spirits products; provide greater convenience and choices for adult consumers; and protect the hospitality industry from higher taxes.
