Distilled Spirits Council Says TPP Will Help Industry By Protecting American Products and Opening Markets

The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, representing over 135 distillers of all sizes, today said the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement, once implemented, will benefit the U.S. distilled spirits industry by opening markets for its products. The historic trade agreement, the text of which was released on November 5, includes Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States and Vietnam.

The Hill 2015 Top Association Lobbyists List Includes Two from Distilled Spirits Council

The Hill, one of Washington D.C.’s premier publications covering Congress, the Administration and politics, named two Distilled Spirits Council lobbyists on its 2015 Association Top Lobbyists List. Mark Gorman, Senior Vice President, Office of Government Relations, and David Culver, Vice President, Office of Government Relations, were the only lobbyists included who represent beverage alcohol associations.​
