DISTILLED SPIRITS COUNCIL TO HOST AMERICAN SPIRITS PROMOTIONS IN CHINA
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) will host American Spirits seminars and tastings of super premium American whiskeys for importers, restaurant and nightclub owners, managers, bartenders, spirits buyers and media in China this May. The events, which will celebrate the taste, style and sophistication of American distilled spirits, are coordinated in connection with the Council’s participation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Market Access Program (MAP). CHINA The Council will host an American Spirits Seminar in Shanghai on May 7, and will host an American Whiskey Master Class and American Spirits Cocktail station during the Whisky Live Spirits Show May 8 and 9, 2009. The Council will also host an American Spirits Seminar in Hangzhou on May 12, 2009.
