  2. STATE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS - To address state legislative activities affecting the distilled spirits industry.

  3. INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS - To promote the export of United States distilled spirits and to identify and eliminate unreasonable tariff and non-tariff trade barriers.

  4. LAWS AND REGULATIONS - To address federal and state laws and regulations applicable to the distilled spirits industry.

  5. PUBLIC AFFAIRS - To increase the awareness among media, opinion leaders and the public regarding key issues affecting the spirits industry.

  6. MILITARY SALES - To address issues relating to the sales to and relationships with U.S. military installations both in the U.S. and overseas.

  7. TRADE OPERATIONS - To provide a strong and effective mechanism for addressing the full range of matters pertaining to the importation of spirits and wine.

  8. TRANSPORTATION - To address transportation and intermodal initiatives domestically and globally.

  9. INDUSTRY STATISTICS - To review and develop distilled spirits statistics and statistical procedures and related material.

  10. TECHNICAL - To address federal, state and international initiatives affecting plant operations.

  11. FIRE PROTECTION - To ensure that fire protection standards and guidelines affecting distilleries are cost-effective and appropriate.
